8 compact Kubota sets from 9 to 31.4 kVA, including one wound single-phase for premises with no three-phase supply.
The Kubota range covers the small end of the catalogue: KT9 – KT10S at 9 kVA prime up to TG30 – TG32S at 31.4 kVA standby, built on the D1105, V1505, D1703, V2203, V2003-T and V3300 engines with Leroy-Somer TAL040 and TAL042 alternators.
These are small-bore industrial diesels — light, low-vibration and quiet for their class, which is what lets them be canopied into a footprint that fits beside a building rather than behind it. They start quickly and hold frequency on the fluctuating, mostly small loads an installation this size actually sees.
Seven of the 8 are three-phase at 400/230 V; TG17 – TG19S is single-phase at 230 V. Typical buyers are shops and pharmacies, clinics and dental practices, small offices, telecom cabinets, pumping stations and private houses — modest loads, but outages that are not acceptable.
